About Compass

Compass Environmental Consultancy is a family-run business specialising in managing environmental risk. Along with consultancy and risk management, training forms one of our core services. We are a key supplier of training to the spill response industry and have recently expanded our offering to include Driver CPC and Health & Safety training.

The Role

Due to continued demand, we are looking for a part-time trainer to join our growing team. You’ll be delivering on our existing training programme nationwide which includes the likes of HGV drivers, aeroplane manufacturers, defence organisations and shampoo factories to name a few!

The nature of this role is well-suited to someone who is looking for flexible working hours.

Supported by an admin team at our headquarters in Wokingham, we can provide you with the tools necessary to deliver a complete training package.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver our suite of training courses to Compass clients

  • Liaise with our existing training partners and venues

    Requirements

  • At least 3+ years of training experience in a related field

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Confident in using essential presentation tools such as Powerpoint

  • Excellent organisation skills

  • Ability to travel across the UK

  • A full UK Drivers Licence

  • Knowledge of the spill industry (desirable but not essential)
